Guests should kindly note that extra beds cannot be accommodated in the cottage or large double room. Please note that the Tovey Lodge cannot accept payment by cheque. Payments must be in cash or by card. Late arrivals are easily possible as we use a self check-in procedure so your arrival time is fully flexible after 4.30. All well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and there is a fee of £25 payable.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Managed by a private host A deposit may be required at the property.

"Do not even consider, dangerous dogs running loose"

Comfortable, well equipped

Noisy vehicles at night, loud aggressive language outside the lodge. NOT DOG FRIENDLY. My dog ( on a lead) was attacked by 3 of owners dogs who were running loose. My dog and I were very traumatised, it spoilt the rest of my holiday. I received a verbal apology from the dog owners mother, who told me I needed a stiff drink, but that was it!!! Shocking! I am considering reporting these dogs, as I could have had a young child with me. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY

The cottage was in a beautiful location. We found the cottage quite adequate for what we required.

The mattress was not very comfortable on the bed.

A fantastic self-catering lodge, set in the beautiful South Downs. Everything I could have needed was included and made my stay all the better.

There was nothing I didn't like - it was all great!
