Clarion Inn near McAllen Airport

The room cost was low. The rooms need a LOT of upgrading. No tissues, toilet paper roll just sitting on counter. Bathroom drain had a lot of stuff stuck down in it…. Toothpaste cap, hair etc. Window shade didn’t work. WiFi didn’t work even with the correct user name and password. When I tried to call, phone didn’t work either. I would not recommend this facility.

No fridge no ice machine no iron

The front lobby was nice and clean wonderful worker at front. It was looking great until we got to our room! We were given room 136 and we quickly noticed that it did NOT have an iron or blow dryer like other hotels have. The beds are not queens but full size. So it’s tight for 2 people per bed. The main issue was the door had a lot of issue with closing the door which kind of worried us if it was actually secure or not.

Beds and pillows are at its ends. Need to replace a while back. I got a room with two beds neither are good. They have the bed with the very very noticeable place where people sleep sunken. the mattress has been worn down. I haven't been able to sleep. :(

Me and my husband traveled to McAllen for my daughter's graduation however, the Hotel was nothing compared to what we saw in the internet. The room I picked and paid for wasn't available, so they gave us an alternate room, that was dirty and no toiletry at all, no phone, our room was not cleaned the next day, one night there was so much noise going around from when we got to the room til pass one in the morning, yelling, on the halls and running around, kids and adults no respect at all, doors slamming. I called the lobby and spoke to the receptionist, he told me "oh I know who it is, I'll take care of it" but nothing happened, My husband had to go to the lobby after I called 3 times to have someone talk to those guest, they stopped after passes 1 in the morning. At check out I exposed my aggravation to the person at the front desk, and the one who came to talk to me was the "Housekeeper"! I said I wanted to speak to the manager, and the housekeeper said, "There's no manager here"!' Hotel was nothing like what I saw in the Internet. I understand that price says it all, however, we wanted to give it a shot. Shopping and dining close by, that was good. other than that, not recommended.
