Overton Motel Livingston

stayed here to visit family. parked in front of room where several live in tennents were out in front sitting and watching. and conversing with each other. almost left. local people living in the rooms. floor in room was totaly filthy. when i wiped up water that i spilled the rag was black. spent an hour cleaning floor just so i could walk on it without shoes. freezer was a block of ice, unable to use except a couple thin items. tv was nice, free wifi was not able to connect to any time during my stay. the grassy area in front of room had many caved in areas that a small dog could fall down into very dangerous with pipes and tanks exposed. the tennents in all hours of the night will bang doors and yell and rev the engine in loud exhaust vehicle at 2am to 6 am. unable to sleep. they should not mix there local live in tennants with paying out of town guests. every other room seemed to have them. do not reccomend staying here.

The room was neat and tidy. The floors in the office was not... The heater in the room needs some attention. It was/is VERY loud.

Small but nice

Check in was easy room is clean other than a couple bugs fly ant and spider. Couple hairs on the pillows. Overall for 75.00 not bad. There was a piece of chewing gum up in the shower too.

This was a weekend getaway with my mother and to visit with our extended family. Overton Motel is nice and very clean. However, it is at least twenty six to thirty miles away from where we wanted to visit and shop. Being that we were in Tennessee, that is about an hour drive. Especially at night. There are no complaints from me at all. My mother, on the other hand, said that the bed was way too soft for her. I loved it.

i like the family that owns/operates /lives on the premises.

Ok clean and nice people

This is a no frills motel for an great price. Clean room, wonderful beds, good bed linens, had a good night's sleep, quiet. Biggest tv of any hotel we've stayed in. And...Wayne's grill next door had excellent food. Would stay here again!

Could not hear anything the owners were saying through the plexiglass and the sound of a fan. Socks got dirty merely walking through the room. The fridge did not work. The AC had not been on so it was miserably hot and HUMID when we got there. I did like that they had good TV channels though. And the beds were comfy and clean.
