Water Street Hotel & Marina, an Ascend Collection Hotel

I loved the hotel! I was surprised that I got an entire apartment with the screened in porch! Very comfortable and convenient to everything. Checking in with Sean was a pleasure!

Large rooms, separate bathrooms, beds were fairly comfortable

Maintenance problems with both rooms, broken elevator, greedy management… We were there for four nights, the elevator broke the second day and we were on the second floor. It was fixed, but broke again on Saturday and did not get repaired before we checked out two days later. We had an older dog that could not go down the stairs. With the broken elevator, we asked to be moved to another room on the first floor. They had one handicap room available, but would not give it to us because the hotel was full and they wanted to have it available to rent. They said it would cost them $400 to give it to us. A couple of hours later we discovered a leak in the kitchen area, water covering the floor. At that point, they did move us to the first floor room, which had a broken door that had to be fixed. They need to do some serious maintenance on their rooms for the price that they charge, it’s just not worth it! And they don’t put the customer first! Will not stay here again!!

No breakfast. great location and water view. Good small kitchen.

Lots of room for us. Extra alcove bedroom and second bathroom really helped. Great location. Very competitive pricing.

Things in the room were a bit run-down. Shower was iffy, light bulb over shower out, etc.

The View was fantastic, the suite was large and loved having separate rooms.

The small bedroom needed a table and lamp and some decor on the walls. It felt like a closet with a bed. Claustrophobic.

The rooms were huge and the view was amazing.

It was tired. Many little things needed attention/maintenance.
