The Moray House

Stayed 1 night for the illuminations. Good location, found free on-street parking nearby, very friendly host who explained everything, was running late and received a nice message to check everything was ok, great heating lovely and warm, comfy clean beds. Tea and coffee making facilities.

Room needed abit of TLC here and there, but for the price, no complaints

Basic single room New carpets on the landings.

Great location for Blackpool Pleasure Beach and nearby to Blackpool South and Pleasure Beach railway stations, as well as the Blackpool trams, also short walk from Bloomfield Road for Blackpool FC. The stay is what you'd expect for what you pay for, but very welcoming hosts who are happy to providing anything you need but also also they don't disturb you uneccesarily.

Bit out of the way from the town centre, so if you want to visit the Blackpool Tower, etc, you'd best take a tram. The room was quite outdated and a little run down, also the aerial on the TV seemed to be broken as every channel was very jittery and was pretty much unwatchable. Also, whilst Wi-Fi password was provided upon entry, from if you are in the upstairs rooms the signal is pretty poor, although luckily the area has some of the fastest 4G I've experienced so as long as long as you have good data allowance you'll be fine.
