Property in poor repair and gardens overgrown and not looked after Food very basic The bar shut at 20.30hrs after the locals left, asked to have our drinks in our bedroom and made feel uncomfortable until we finished our drink

Great stay and lovely food.

Comfortable stay in good location. Hospitable and friendly.

The hotel is very tired, it needs a lick of paint everywhere. All of the staff kept saying how busy they were but the hotel didn't look busy at all. The beds were uncomfortable, the shower is tiny and the bed for my daughter had no headboard. We were asked if we wanted breakfast, I said I don't know yet and I was told that I needed to make a decision straight away.

This small hotel is clean and friendly. The food is all freshly prepared and cooked for each order. It was very tasty and well presented. Owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. They also welcome, for a small charge, well behaved dogs which is great if you own a pet that you cannot leave at home with someone else. Our little dog loved the area and there was a nice walk close by.

Property upgrade in progress. Accommodation fine. Pub area very welcoming. Good English breakfast. Lovely hosts.

Ok, but a very cold room

Owners very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms clean and pleasant. Great food. Great real ales and cider.

Shabby hotel, old fashioned room, horrible bathroom. NOT as photos suggested! No food. No parking. No wonder the pub was empty. Shan't go there again despite proximity to Le Shuttle.

A two night stay away. The room was a nice size. The carpark is shared with village, so the first night we had to park on the road. The checking in times are strict, as the bar/ pub closes.
