"Third stay at the George."

Mike and his team are fantastic. Breakfast ladies are so friendly and attentive. Made lots of fuss over Tessa,our dog who was recovering from surgery. Love the location as we could walk to the beach. This is our third stay,we love it.

"Good stay, clean room, good location, good water pressure in shower room"

The owner and the whole team were wonderful! The room was clean as well as the bathroom, the bathroom was external which wasn’t ideal but got used to it towards the end- the only comment I have is to be careful of some tiny black insects (I’m not sure if they bite or not) but it seems they are coming from outside when the window’s open I found quite a bit in the bathroom and a few in my room I wiped them away but overall everything at this B&B were well managed.

"The George providdd a good base to explore"

Friendly staff and a good location reasonably close to the beach and town The cooked breakfast was hot and tasty and plentiful

A few irritants in the bathroom… mould on the ceiling… the hand towel rail was rusty and the shower waste was broken ( room 2)

Mike was so so accommodating as we were on an ultra challenge and arrived way past the normal check in time. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend.
