Hyatt Place Pittsburgh North Shore

Location is the only good thing about this place.

The service was horrible. They charged my card and wanted me to pay again because it "didn't show up in their system" meanwhile I'm holding my phone with the charge right in front of them. The staff could care less to help you with anything. Just in the time I was standing there trying to resolve this whole issue, two other guests came to the front desk asking for a new room because one's smelled like mold and the other had asked for room service 4 times over the past two days and had gotten none. The room itself was not very clean and all the furniture was so beat up and not taken care of, there was even a glass cup by the sink that had red sticky residue from a previous guest and was not washed. Would NOT recommend staying here.

If you can, stay somewhere else. The room was barely passable as clean, I lived out of my suitcase for the 4 days we were there. I did not want to put anything in the drawers. The bathroom wasn't very clean either, all metal surfaces looked like they were rusty. The blanket for the sofa bed looked like someone's dog chewed a hole in it. The room smelled musty / stale as well. The hotel breakfast was gross, the eggs were cold and disgusting. The baked goods were dry / stale. I avoided it after the first day of our stay.
