Fort McMurray itself is a pleasant city

The hotel is clean and the staff are generally polite. However, the description of a "very good breakfast" is misleading—it was just a packed meal handed over by the receptionist, and it’s doubtful there’s even a functioning kitchen on-site. Also, the noise level was quite high, both from inside the hotel and the surrounding area, which made it difficult to relax.

Annie at the reception desk was lovely, very helpful and friendly. We loved the suite at the Fort McMurray hotel.

Close to groceries, cafes, restaurants for dine-in or pick-up in the small sore of downtown Fort McMurray. Clean room and helpful staff. The parking garage and main door access wasn’t working so we had to buzz each time we arrived at the building.

Good place to stay. Rooms very spacious.

The staff at this hotel and the best I have seen in the last several years. They are attentive, friendly, helpful, easy to communicate with and worked so hard to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was abundant, the room rate was great, the rooms were great too! Separate bedrooms! 2 bathrooms! Fridge, kitchenette, sitting area-just great, so comfortable and very clean. Free underground parking. Incredible value at this property, I can’t say enough about what a great place this was and the people there are just wonderful.

The room was private and spacious. Staff were exceptional and awesome breakfasts each morning.

Parking was difficult for a work truck. However staff were very accommodating.

This hotel is my top pick for Fort McMurray:). Always amazing staff, which makes a trip so much better. Arcie thr manager here could not be more welcome and accomadating! I am also a late check in and Alden always is so friendly at the desk. He goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything. Perks- breakfast and underground parking!!

2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was fantastic Underground Parking in snow and-24 temperature was perfect. Pleasant staff. Will stay here again.
