"Lovely stay"

10.0

Spent a week at this hotel at the end of September. We had booked a sea view room, and we did have a view of the sea, but it want an unobstructed view as there were other apartments between us so if sitting on the balcony you had a great view of the doors to the next block. The room was really nice and spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. Large bathroom with separate bath & shower, that had plenty of shampoo, shower gel provided. The balcony was really large and had a table & two chairs. Could have fitted two sun loungers on the balcony which would have made it even better. Mini fridge was restocked daily with bottled water. We stayed half board, so had access to both breakfast & evening meal. We asked about upgrading to all inclusive, but this would have been €60 per day for each person so an additional €720. This was I felt far too expensive, so we just paid for drinks & lunches which only came to £200 for the whole week which included €60 for the beach gazebo. Food was OK, some days better than others and quite a bit of repetition. The last night there wasn’t really anything that appealed to me but that was more about personal likes & dislikes. Hotel staff were all very pleasant, one male receptionist was especially helpful and gave us some good tips about the best way to get into Kos town by bus. Can’t remember his name sadly, but nice chap. We booked the gazebo on the beach for one day. This included a fruit platter, sandwiches and a selection of soft drinks. I thought good value for a treat, although with the heat the food & drinks really should be supplied in a cool box. Hubby took the sandwiches back to the room to put in the fridge so they didn’t spoil. Tui entertainment staff were all nice, I did a couple of the activities and we went to a cocktail making demonstration which was a good way to spend half an hour. If you want a relaxing holiday, this is the place to come. It is fairly remote but you’ve got options to get into Kardemena by bus. Unfortunately came down with extremely bad gastroenteritis the day we were going home which necessitated hospital treatment so I was fit to make the flight. Hotel arranged the doctor for me and let us stay in the room beyond the check out time while we waited for him to arrive. It was a rubbish way to end the holiday, but overall we had a great time (until the last few hours!).

"So glad we booked this all-inclusive hotel"

10.0

What a beautiful hotel. But it does not have a ‘hotel’ feel to it. One main building but this is not where the rooms are. Clean, elegant, no mass tourism feel. There are enough facilities, staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is extremely good with a lot of variaties. Other resorts repeat the same menus, but way less here. Beach is very nice; no boats or other rentals in sight. Just find a beach bed and relax.

""All inclusive" doesn't include clean drinking water"

2.0

Disappointing Stay at a TUI Blue 5-Star Resort - Lacked Basic Amenities and Accessibility Given that this is marketed as a 5-star TUI Blue all-inclusive resort, there was a certain level of expectation that was unfortunately unmet on almost every front. While the resort's atmosphere is calm and relaxing, often enhanced by gentle, lo-fi music, and the grounds are picturesque with incredible sea views and well-maintained greenery, fundamental issues with amenities, drinks, and accessibility severely detracted from the overall holiday experience. A major failing for a modern luxury resort is the complete lack of accessibility. The poorly maintained cobblestones throughout the entire resort are a serious safety hazard, as guests tripping on them was a daily sight; this is a significant barrier for anyone with mobility issues. Beyond the grounds, a noticeable and dangerous lack of handrails is present throughout the property. Furthermore, the main pool area is basically off-limits to anyone not confident in the water or with mobility needs, as it features ladder-only entry and no gradual access. The all-inclusive drinks package is completely underwhelming and, frankly, concerning. If you don't specify a branded spirit, you're automatically given the vile-tasting house spirits. Most desirable cocktails aren't included in the all-inclusive, and none of the included options use branded spirits. More critically, the policy on drinking water is unacceptable. Guests are allotted only 800ml of bottled water per person, per day. After this, you must refill at the bars, but the tap water provided tastes salty/unclean, which I attribute to a bout of D&V (diarrhoea and vomiting). This policy is inconsistent: guests can sometimes secure bottled water at dinner if they push the issue, but bottled water is never included at lunchtime, a baffling decision for a so-called 5-star all-inclusive. Despite this let down, Emmanuel at the Ulysses bar deserves a huge shout-out for being attentive, friendly, and fantastic at his job - a true silver lining. The evening entertainment setup clearly feels like an afterthought. Most of the seating has an obstructed view of the stage because of the bar doors. Additionally, if you need the toilet while watching, you must leave the area, walk across the lobby and reception, and take a lift down to the Spa toilets. Other facilities also show a lack of planning for a resort of this size. There are only two public toilet locations around the entire sprawling resort (pool bar and spa), meaning only two cubicles are available for everyone at the pool, beach, and beach bar, which leads to constant queues. The daily hard sell of massages while guests are trying to relax is also highly intrusive and irritating. The one saving grace was the A La Carte restaurant. The food here was the best of the entire stay; the gyoza and beef cheeks were delicious, with the almond cake being the absolute standout. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, offering the briefest glimpse of the genuine 5-star service we expected from the entire resort.

"Relaxing holiday"

8.0

Just back from 10nts at hotel, like others I don’t understand why reviews only focus on the spa experience: we didn’t use spa as not really our thing so will review the hotel/holiday to the island of Kos, which was our first time We had stayed in July at an Atlantica Hotel in Rhodes and had a fantastic holiday so felt confident in booking the same chain again, we also like to book adult only hotels as our preference We enjoyed our stay, we had a very relaxing holiday, whilst there was things to do if you chose to (pool exercises, yoga, darts, quizzes), you could also find a quiet spot to just relax. Whether it was the time of year the pool area was quiet and you could always find a bed, it was made clear you couldn’t put your towels on to reserve early in the morning and staff would remove. The hotel had 2 pools near reception but not allowed to use those which was a shame, seemed a waste The food in the main restaurant, beach bar and speciality restaurants was very good, plenty of choice and they had theme nights e.g. Greek, Italian nights. Certain times e.g. 7.30, 8.30 expect to queue as busy times and depending on whether you want outside or inside dining you may have to wait for a table. My only picky thing about food was poached eggs, they were never runny but that’s personal preference Lobby bar at night, due to time of year guests were choosing to sit inside rather than outside so couldn’t always find seating, if you sat nearer to reception had to wait a while for a waiter to take your order We had a room in block five which was not far from main building or pool, we booked a sea view, we arrived late at night so didn’t see view until morning, I wouldn’t say it was a total sea view, you could see sea over the block of rooms roof in front, more of a partial sea view as mainly looking at rooms in another block, we didn’t use the balcony which was a shame. There are rooms further along from main block that have a total sea view, maybe hotel should consider the descriptions, when we have booked rooms in other hotels before they have said full sea view or partial sea view Drinks: when we stayed at the Atlantica in Rhodes the choice of drinks was extensive and brands, there were very few that had 2 stars whereby all inclusive guests had to pay an additional cost. This hotel was limited on drink choices, there were more with 2 stars requiring all inclusive to pay more. My husband likes JD and coke and had to drink another brand, didn’t always taste the alcohol in drinks feel watered down, very limited cocktail choices which was a bit disappointing as thought would be the same as other hotel stayed in, and with all inclusive expected more choice Toilets: toilets by pool area behind bar area, no nearer toilets if on beach. Toilets for lobby bar you have to go downstairs either by stairs or lift, not sure why there are not toilets nearer to bar area Whilst ther are a few picky bits noted in my review, overall we did have a lovely, relaxing holiday, we did a few trips as well and the TUI rep (Hannah) was very good and informative, we don’t normally go along to the welcome meets but as never been to Kos and the hotel was big we wanted to get information about both the hotel and Kos to make the most of our holiday. Would I return probably not and that’s not because of the hotel, we don’t tend to go back to the same place twice and as Kos is a small island we feel we have seen what we need to

"Very pleasant massage, body mask and facial treatment"

I had a full body massage, facial treatment and body mask. The treatment was very pleasant and the staff were welcoming and smiling. My masseuse Sophia was nice and smiling and hit the correct pressure first time around. Would definitely recommend it to others or come back another time myself.

Der Hotelshop gibt nicht wirklich was her. Sonst absolute Empfehlung.
