Atlantica Belvedere Resort - Adults Only

Not 5 star disgraceful reception asking for 103 euros for tax !!! food repetitive but ok wont starve. pool freezing & scolded from lifeguard no floats in pool !!! cobbled walkways dangerous. not near a town kardameina is a bus ride away and kos town is amazing but 3 bus changes to get there of pay £16 pp for coach takes 40 mins. coach driver on return driving like lunatic 10pm and would not let us on coach until 10, all waiting 20 mins on pavement. Anastasia in bar is amazing although others take ages. evening entertainment ok but need to get a seat on terrace before 8 and wait til 930 before it starts. best thing was the room and bed so comfortable. Iqbal the buggy driver is fantastic will pick you up and drop you back as our room 232 was far away from complex. so many wasted water areas which make the hotel look fab. would i return .... no too far from a walk into town. Danger do not attempt to get back to hotel late after bus service finishes as chaos to find taxi and almost a fight when one does turn up. Plus nice beach and no need to get up at 6 to put towels down plenty there.

This is a 3* hotel NOT anywhere near close to 5* …. Why…??? 1. Had to carry own cases to room 2. No zero / diet soft drinks 3. Only 1 swimming pool NOT 3 as advertised 4. Grounds unkept, overgrown grass, weeds everywhere 5. No bar service to beach 6. No cushions on loungers 7. ONLY 35% of drinks on menus are available in all inclusive package 8. Buffet restaurant food like warm, tasteless and lacking variety. Service in there abysmal - every night did we have to chase waiters down to try and get a drink, much to their displeasure. Breakfast servicing orange squash NOT juice. 9. Lack of facilities - 5 minutes walk across 2 floors from bar / entertainment to reach bathrooms. 10. Unsafe spaces - cobbled paths were very uneven making them difficult to walk through and impossible to wear heals. Steps into swimming pool incredibly steep and almost impossible to get in and out. POSITIVES…. 1. Staff - huge thank you to Emmanuel & Anastasia - Bar Evangelia, Mersina & Spiros - Ammos Beach Bar for impeccable customer service 2. A la Carte Restaurant - very nice, sadly only allowed to visit once during stay. If I could rate the hotel 4.5*, I would have done. We have been to the hotel the last four years and there’s good reason why we keep returning: * It has its own private beach located right in front of the hotel which is a big draw, as we spend most of our days here * The hotel (and rooms) is beautifully presented and always spotless. The cleaning and gardening teams do a great job. It feels luxurious * The fitness classes led by Jenna are great. I have been to quite a few over the years. They are set at the right level for a holiday and adapted to different fitness levels * There is a wide selection of drinks and salads * We have been on quite a few of the trips and particularly enjoyed Nisyros and Zia * The bus to local town Kardamena is quick and only €2. We recommend Avli for food! There have been some welcomed improvements over the years: * The service is a lot more efficient at night in the hotel lobby and at lunch. Emmanuel, Gellar, and Renos have been great * There are more food labels so you know what the dishes are and if they’re vegetarian * This year a few staff members noticed we’d been before, which made us feel welcomed * The beach bar is sometimes open for drinks at night as a break from the main entertainment However, a few areas for improvement which means it’s not quite 5*: * This year, the service at the pool bar was a bit disorganised and slower compared to previous years (although Maria is very efficient) * The food does get a little repetitive if here for 2 weeks and you don’t eat meat (as neither of us do). Perhaps a few more vegetarian main options would be good for lunch and dinner * The nighttime entertainment can also get a little repetitive and is sometimes a bit serious/down beat for a holiday * Being greeted in and out of the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner feels a little awkward. Maybe just at dinner would be fine. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel for those looking for a relaxing beach/pool holiday. There’s a reason we keep coming back!

Our final day at this serene and rejuvenating hotel, it stands out as potentially the most relaxing adult-only TUI hotel we have experienced to date. A good advantage is the consistent availability of sunbeds near both the pool and beach, so there is no need for early morning reservations, a first for us. The absence of amplified music and inflatables makes it a more tranquil atmosphere. The pool is huge, a little cool on entry, but it provides a welcome respite from the heat. we divided our time between the pool and the beach, with the sound of the ocean creating a particularly peaceful experience. Would recommend bringing beach shoes due to the pebbled entry into the sea and many other beaches around Kos. The food in the main restaurant was to a very high standard, offering a wide variety with a different carvery station each day. The desserts were particularly delicious, especially the Greek selections. My compliments to the chefs. We booked a taxi from reception into Kardemna, we went on a boat trip to Nisyros booked with offshore travel, very good trip, on our return we waited by the bus stop for a taxi back, more convenient than catching the bus,it took less than 10 min cost approx €11. We also rented a car for 2 days from International rentals (in the hotel lobby) prices were very reasonable, staff very helpful gave us a map and highlighted the best places to visit, which we did and thoughtfully enjoyed. The entertainment was exceptional, fantastic vocal performances, and choreography from the dance act. However, we feel the viewing experience could be enhanced by raising the stage to improve visibility for all guests, not just the front row. It can get a bit windy, especially in the evenings, so recommend bringing a light jacket/cardigan. Not always enough seats, so you might have to stand for some performances. All the staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly, always smiling, and will do anything they can to help you. We booked a garden view room. Which also had a sea view, It was a delightful spacious room 561 not far from the pool or restaurant, and we had the most adorable cleaner who really looked after us. Tui reps are great, and their are plenty of activities on offer, I enjoyed the pebble painting and the white party. We stayed half board a rough guide to drink prices €10-50 for a G&T €5-50 for 550ml beer. €3-50 soft drinks, cocktails are around €10 upwards. Slight niggle I ordered a Mojito on my last night and it was not nice, which when i'm paying €10 i was expecting a nice tasty cocktail made with branded spirits, not one made with local spirits , all I could taste was soda. The cocktail I did enjoy was the Pina Colada. Service can also be a bit slow as the bar seems understaffed, only 2 people working the bar, and this is the only bar open in the evenings. But overall, this is a lovely hotel, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Just back after a 7 night stay which was enjoyable but not a fully blown 5 star . The room was clean , meals a little repetitive , only 1 restaurant with table service , staff good even though some make drinks better than others . The management seem to stand in your way at meal times and just talk on their phones ( a little strange ). Food is only served within a small time slot which makes meal times very busy .there is a large selection of food but often isn’t hot enough .The water in the pool is FREEZING ! Maybe because it is painted white but even at the end of the day was still a challenge to get in . They is no ambiance around the pool at all , no music and not many actually in the water .The sea was warmer , sand was hot so shoes needed and no service , you had to fetch drinks & food to your sunbed . Plenty of sun beds even though the Germans did their usual thing and put towels out ( even though they said it does not happen ). Bus into town worth the visit and only 2 euro . The entertainment at night was better than normal but finding a seat was quite difficult . The drinks in the Lobby bar were excellent and some higher numbered rooms were a good walk to get to .we used the spa and the massage was very good and fairly reasonable for hotel prices . Very close to the airport so transfer only takes 20 mins . You can see the planes landing over the hotel but this doesn’t cause any discomfort or noise . The sea is clear , sand is good but a 10 min walk to any watersports down the beach .

Elle at the spa was absolutely amazing. The massage and facial was very relaxing! Strongly recommend when staying at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views! All the staff were amazing, Anastasia & Emanuel the bar staff were so lovely and friendly. Everyone on reception couldn’t do enough for you, too many to name. Our main man was Iqbal who was so nice, always joking. He took us to our room every time we needed him in the golf cart. Definitely not a 5 🌟 The food was good, excellent variety, salads were superb but very samey, no decent wine and the A La Carte wasn’t anything special but again the restaurant staff were amazing! Shout out to Han the Tui rep was brilliant. How she welcomes all the guests with her knowledge and expertise. Overall a very relaxed holiday ****

For the last few years I have revisited this Hotel Twice a year in May and Sep. I have tried other hotels but this one is consistently lovely. Staff are super friendly from reception to bar to restaurant and can’t do enough to make your stay special. Immaculately clean throughout and right on the beach. There is nothing I don’t love and looking forward to returning once again in Aug. Great entertainment in the evening and great food. Simply amazing a huge thank you to all the staff who work really hard.

I booked to have a back neck and scalp massage and my therapist was Zoe she was so lovely and very calming the massage was really good and would recommend Zoe if you ever go for a massage she was so sweet
