Convenient Grand Hotel

For a 1 night over night at the airport stay it was adequate. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was good for a buffet breakfast. I had a few problems with the booking, it seems it was between hotels.com and the hotel. For example, i was told by hotels.com there would not be an extra person charged for my 16 year okd, but when I arrived, there was an extra person charge that I had to pay, the description of the property said free buffet breakfast when i arrived they said there would be an extra charge for the breakfast of 150 baht per person. These are the types of things you are counting on when deciding which price you want for a hotel, so knowing the extra fees, I don’t know if I would have chosen this budget but clean hotel.

Initially the building was beautiful walking in. Once we checked in and were on our way to the room, the halls were not lit well, and no ac. The room had rat feces in it, the porch was not clean. It was a bare bones room. Breakfast said it was included. Which is why we went for this place over others. To find out we dont get breakfast. Overall not a pleasant experience. Neighborhood is run down and dirty.

Clean, no disturbances and close to airport. Service up to expectations

A close taxi ride to the airport but no restaurant after 7pm, hard bed, cold water only in the sink (shower/bath had hot water) and a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee. Breakfast buffet was ok and the staff were friendly but definitely a budget hotel with no frills.

5 star rated at booking.com which it’s definitely not. Big rooms, but outdated, poor internet connection, dirty rooms which are ancient history. No dinner available, staff can’t recommend any good restaurant arnd either. An absolute disappointment for what we may have expected for 5 stars, should be reviewed.

I was under the impression there was a shuttle to the airport but they do not have any shuttle services. They will call you a taxi if you want. The standard rooms are sparse and not particularly comfortable. Also the shower situation in the bathrooms is frustrating, was too short for someone slightly tall, and got water everywhere. Made a huge mess. Overall an uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

My wife and baby girl stayed here. She said the hotel was "scary". I would probably have no problem staying here if I were in town. The price is great, she said the rooms are good and not too far from the airport. 1 or 2 night hotel, forsure. Oh they had some toys for my little one. THANK YOU!

The reason for my displeasure is two fold. 1. I booked a hotel that has a shuttle service from the airport but on arrival there was no shuttle and on contacting the hotel from the airport I was informed that I needed to book it. I specifically mentioned on your booking page that I wished to use a shuttle service. 2. I also only booked this hotel because it had a gym, unfortunately the gym equipment was next to useless and mostly not working. If they are going to advertise their hotel as having a gym it needs to be functional. So my dissatisfaction was due to lack of the facilities rather than the staff who were friendly and accommodating.
