Best Western Plus Huntersville Inn & Suites Near Lake Norman

Breakfast was lame. Girl serving was rude and lazy

The stay here was very disappointing. The hotel advertised free breakfast, yet they ran out of waffle mix, bagels and yogurt. They knew the hotel was near capacity for the long holiday weekend yet did not plan accordingly. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The ice machine in the hall ran loudly ALL NIGHT long. The lobby was dingy and could use a really good clean. The carpet throughout was old and smelly. I didn't expect much staying at a Best Western, even one being advertised as a Best Western Plus, but this so far below standards to be extremely disappointing.

The breakfast was horrible--this was the worse thing. The hotel was very noisy at night. Generally, the room was old, and the bathroom, etc., was not well-kept. AC did not work very well either.

Paid before arrived, they over booked and gave my room away and canceled my reservation. Gave me the only room available which I was told was out

My room was okay…I was very disappointed in the continental breakfast. It probably would have been nice if the food was replaced as it went down. They stop at 9am. I went at 8:15 am and no eggs or sausage, waffle mix out and no coffee. I waited 20 minutes in a cup of coffee. And the breakfast area was not clean…food everywhere. I’m used to someone at the continental breakfast area looking after it and wiping down things as people make a mess but there was not anyone there managing it.

We didn’t have a good experience staying here and left early.

Very outdated. linens were dirty. Called front desk multiple times for assistance and they did not answer. Would not stay again.

It is pretty average for the price. The breakfast was so, so and the lobby furniture was a bit worn. We had a comfortable room, but it wasn't as clean as I would like. The sink part of the bathroom is very small. The staff was friendly, however, we noticed the front desk was vacant for long periods and we noticed guests standing at the desk for several minutes with no one coming to help.

Upon arrival, our phone did not work. We discovered that it was unplugged. We had no remote control for tv. I went to front desk for help and called the front desk an hr. after receivi ng no help. At 1030 p.m., we received a call tha they could come up to look for remote. We had been in bed for 1/2 hr by then. The next morning I went to desk and got a remote. The breakfast was terrible. No coffee, eggs looked like pancakes, waffle mix was limited, juice was watered down. Asked for coffee. Attendant came out with a carafe of cold coffee. That evening when we returned to our room, neither of our room keys worked. I went to front desk again. They had to rekey our room cards. There were only 2 threadbare towels in the bathroom. I asked for more towels and soap from the young man with a cleaning cart. He had no idea what I was saying. We had to use a translation program on his phone. We were very disapointed in our stay as were other travelers. Everyone that we talked to said that this particular Best Western was the worse one that they had ever stayed in. I am sorry for such a bad resonse, but we decided that we will never stay in a Best Western again.
