The New Inn is a Grade I listed building, and has no disabled facilities. Bedrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. Check in times from 14:00 to 21:00. Late check ins only by prior arrangement. The nearest car park is Kings Walk (GL1 1EA) which is at the rear of the property. High vans should use Hare Lane North car park (GL1 1DF). It is free between the hours of 18:00 and 07:00 and costs GBP 3 per day Monday - Saturday and GBP 2 for Sundays. Passengers and luggage may be dropped off at the back door in New Inn Lane - close to Kings Walk car park. Please Note: The New Inn provides live music on a Friday night between 9pm & midnight and Karaoke on a Saturday night between 8pm & midnight - please be aware this is a city center hotel / bar and it can get noisy on the weekendsPlease inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

We stayed in the UK for 2 weeks, stayed at multiple inns and hotels, and this was by far our favorite! The room was huge, with a gorgeous bathroom that had a luxurious clawfoot tub! The whole place was simply amazing, and a short walk to the amazing Gloucester Cathedral.

The only complaint is something no one could really control, which is the loud birds outside. They wouldn't quit, day or night. But that's something no one has control over, really. That, and there was still leftover water in the tea kettle when we first arrived.

Fascinating building in the centre of Gloucester. Steeped in history. Staff were were great. I stayed in a single on the second floor and for the price and given the age of the property couldn't really fault it. We had a few beers in the courtyard in the evening and a great breakfast in the morning.

They took £100 security deposit which I have never had to do in any other hotel and I have stayed in more than 100 ten days later I am still waiting for them to return it and now they are asking me to prove it came out of my account by sending them a copy of my bank statement. Not really the best way to treat paying customers.

Amazing historical building with a beautiful courtyard. Perhaps new ownership will get a heritage grant to do full justice to such a historic gem. Staff very friendly, enjoyable evening in the courtyard, excellent breakfast

It’s a beautiful atmospheric, historic property.

The room was very very tired, and there was an extractor right outside our room, which kept us awake. Staff, however, were lovely and the state of the room was reflected in the price. This was a last minute booking, were I to stay again I would book further in advance and choose a batter room.
