Breakfast was excellent. Location was ideal.

Beautiful old place but very tastefully decorated. Our room was so lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Nice big shower as well. It was very hot when we stayed (25-27 May 2026) but the staff had put a small fan in our room which helped. Only because the rooms are so old, they retain the heat. It really was a lovely stay though. The breakfast was brilliant, full English and great food. We also had lunch here which was fabulous. We will definitely stay here again.

Stairs, but knew about them in advance, beautiful old building tastefully decorated so distracted me when needed to climb

Hotel was great, had everything we needed room was very clean and staff were lovely and helpful, a wonderful time in Tewkesbury. We definitely will be coming back.

Only downside was because it was hot we had to have windows open, so could here drunk people shouting at night but that wasn't the hotels fault.

Stuffy hot room . No issue with size

Just returned from a 3 night break with friends at this gem of a hotel. We stayed in the Gazebo rooms at the far end of the property. The rooms were large, more like suites, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel itself is a very old, historic building and has many original features, all a delight to explore. Breakfast was amazing, well cooked from high quality ingredients, and the service from staff was amazing, they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, nothing was too much trouble. We also ate at the hotel two evenings, the menu was great and again, the food was top quality and very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!
