V good location

Really nice hotel, full of character and a great location. Looking a little tired in places, food & service was good. we were lucky enough to be upgraded on arrival. Room was very nice with excellent views from the bay window.

Enjoyed our short stay very much. Unfortunately the spa area was not in use so couldn’t give five stars 🌟

Generally a lovely weekend, and felt homely and welcoming with staff. Weekend stop during New Year weekend. Some aspects of the fixtures and fitting did look a little tired, but overall enjoyable

Fantastic location, our room was in the corridor to the rear of the property next lo the rear entrance which was a little noisy. Reasonable food and facilities, just felt a little dated in places, and not sure we’d give it 4 stars. That’s said we enjoyed our stay and none of the above spoiled our weekend.

Lovely friendly staff. Food was excellent, and the staff were very helpful with dietary requirements.

The hotel was modern and spaceous with excellant furnishings and knowledgeable staff, food and drinks were very good and parking was free and easy

2nd visit to this hotel. Excellent location and nice breakfast. Stayed in room 22 and had a few issues. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly and there seemed to be a lot of heat behind the bathroom. Mentioned the broken flush to reception and it was never repaired. Room dated and could do with a refurbishment. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great hotel ideal situated for the Lakes. Great service from all staff.
