The Railway Hotel Worthing

Friendly staff. Cleanliness.

Too big, too thick and too hard pillows.

What a great value hotel this is. We used our stay as a base for a Brighton weekend, only a 25 minute drive away. A hotel, a pub and a restaurant all in one….directly across the road from the train station and a convenient car park at the end of the road, which was so cheap aswell. Our room was very spacious with lots of light, bed was clean and comfy, pedestal fan, tv, wardrobe, tea/coffee facilities. Nice bathroom and towels were great. Decor of the hotel was Victorian/vintage….love, love, love. The food was very, very good, especially the cooked breakfast and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would return 100% and would definitely recommend.

Near the train station then might hear some loud noise from drunk ppl

The hotel itself is lovely, clean and well looked after, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed here many times and usually had a very good experience.

Unfortunately, both times I’ve stayed on the ground floor it’s been very noisy early in the morning. On this stay there was repeated banging on doors, loud door slamming and shouting/swearing in the corridor around 6am which made me feel quite uncomfortable and unsafe. I also personally didn’t find the zip and link bed very comfortable.

The room is needs updating but in general it is cosy and nice size. The bed is very comfortable, the view was nice.

The shower needs some updating, the lamp needs to be checked and lightbulbs changed.

Lovely hotel, great location, room very clean, nice towels, good quality toiletries & tea/coffee etc. Friendly staff, good food & drinks at reasonable prices, great atmosphere in the bar.

Room was quite warm for sleeping but a fan was provided, which made a difference
