Hôtel Le Clos Roussillon

We had a bit of trouble finding this place with our GPS , we were in the general area but stopped at a gas station and got directions. We got a room on the lower floor with a kitchenette and balcony. We did our breakfasts and had wine & cheese on the patio in the evening. Bed and pillows a bit hard but okay. On the drive in from Amboise we stopped at the Lacsaux caves and the following day we visited Beynac, Castlenaud, the Roque and Sarlat. All 4 towns are close within 5-10 km. restful place off the main drag.

I really enjoy the hotel the location very beautiful and serene, close to a cute village.

Everything is more than expected, with a difficulty in locating at the final moment though. Need an extra sign board for easy way.

We enjoyed two nights at this charming hotel. The weather wasn't as warm as we were hoping for so it was a pleasant surprise to find the pool heated. The rooms were basic but comfortable and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return.

the hotel looks like a bulk standard motel type property but it is set in beautiful countrside and is near such towns as Domme, Sarlat and Castelnaud. The hotel is run by a family who are friendly ande helpful.

Enjoyed the stay. Pool was a great way to relax at the end of the day.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, pleasant manager, good rooms, great pool, just a long way from anywhere to eat, and in June there aren't many places to go close by.

This was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. The only drawback is the fact we had to drive to do any sightseeing. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The 9 euro breakfast was a bit pricey but pretty standard for Europe.
