Hôtel Le Clos Roussillon

Loved the pool (open Late) after a long drive from Andorra in traffic! Very nice owners showed us the room rather than just giving us the keys.

We booked an overnight stay at the Hotel Le Clos Roussillon on our way back from the Midi-Pyrenees. The hotel is in a fantastic location only about 600 yards off the Vitrac to Domme road but completely quiet with beautiful views across the fields towards Domme perched on the hilltop. The owners are lovely & speak good English & ensure your stay is a good one. The room was very nice & has air conditioning which was needed as the temperature was 38 degrees when we were there! In the evening we had a drink from the bar & sat out on the terrace which was great. The breakfast was excellent on the terrace & only cost 9 euros which was good value. It was a shame that we were only staying for one night as it was a little gem!

Wonderful experience all around. The family that owns and operates this hotel treat you like you are an honored guest...first class. We were there only one night and that was due to a misunderstanding that cut our stay elsewhere from 3 to 2 nights and we had to find something quick. I wish we had been here all three nights. Can't say enough good about Clos Rousillon. You will enjoy it.

For the price range, this has been our favorite country hotel during our 3 weeks abroad. Great service, friendly helpful English speaking. Awesome breakfast and bar for drinks at night. Gorgeous setting with beautiful views on the patio. Swimming pool was the perfect temperature. Heated towel rack was an add plus because I could hand wash a few garments to get a few more clean items before having to do laundry.

Centrally located for a huge number of Dordogne regional attractions, but set in a very quiet location away from the tourist crowds, this was a lovely find. Family run with attentive staff, good breakfast and good standard of rooms (AC, hair dryers, satellite TV etc) and appropropriate size swimming pool for the size of hotel. Plenty of free parking. Would definitely stay again.

Staff were very accommodating at a request for early check in to get ready for a wedding.hotel set in lovely surroundings very peaceful and quiet with a lovely pool to relax by.

Ideally located in in the heart of Dordogne; good value in a quiet setting

Room clean. Rooms at the front of the hotel have a beautiful view, but 50/50 chance of getting one! No restaurants near the hotel and only breakfast available.

nice quiet location but also close to sarlat. good parking and great pool. English spoken if you don't speak French. great breakfast. big comfy bed and good air con in the room.
