Hotel 1843 Reading

Номер (тримісний) досить великий, два вікна, все нове, отель було нескладно знайти, атмосферне приміщення для сніданку

Номер на третьому поверсі, з валізами може бути незручно дістатися. Парковки немає, і ми не зрозуміли, як скористатися знижкою від отелю при оплаті міської парковки.

The location to London Road university campus, City Centre and railway station.

Extremely dirty (health risk) and overpriced property.

Location very good, lovely downstairs, good bar, fun cocktails. Enjoyed our evening. Bed was comfy, bathroom clean, coffee in room towels lovely.

Sadly I had a very loud snorer in next room, walls so thin I could not sleep. Having informed staff I was disappointed not to be moved. Hotel was quiet otherwise. Breakfast disappointing I did not bother second day.

The cleanliness of the property needs a lot of work.

Location was good

It was dirty, i asked if it could be cleaned the day i arrived but still nothing till 2nd day. Bathroom door and door handle dirty. Needed a deep clean. Staff are friendly but can't speak English. Was a good location just super dissapointing as needed a good clean and bedding , towels, chair etc had stains on too. Such a pity

No TV remote control And no tea bags in room

The first room I had assigned was directed in a way that I would have had kitchen smells in the room. I asked to change to the other side and staff was doing their best to accommodate my wishes which was really nice! I got the side I wished and was very comfortable there. The restaurant and bar in the ground floor makes it easy to get dinner without going out. This is very much appreciated when travelling for work and being tired after a full day. All in all, service and staff friendliness was excellent.

it is an old building and of course the walls are not as well insulated as in new ones, so you could hear the neighbours but everyone generally respected the resting times, so no complaints here.
