Hotel 1843 Reading

Lo mejor es la ubicación si vas a la universidad de Reading. Está a buena distancia a pie de la universidad y del centro de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son amplias y luminosas.

Podría estar más limpio y las instalaciones más actualizadas, aunque no está mal. Lo que menos me gustó es que mi tren salía por la tarde y no me permitieron dejar las maletas hasta mi partida, como suele ser habitual en otros sitios.

We had a really lovely stay at 1843 Hotel in Reading. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious family room. The room was done in a Bridgestone style, felt generous in size, and the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was fairly simple, but it had everything we needed to start the day. A special mention has to go to the Calico Bar—the interior is beautifully done, and the cocktails were excellent, which really added something special to our stay. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble 💫

The staff are excellent . Alex on reception is extremely helpful . It's a place for weary travellers/headbanging clubbers or people just passing through Reading, but not really honeymooners. The rooms I have seen have baths which my girlfriend liked..... Bar/restaurant on ground floor is really nice . . It's very good value and in the perfect location .
