Hotel 1843 Reading

Ik had een erg grote kamer aan de voorkant van het pand. Kamer 17. Zeer ruim en comfortabel!

De bar is vaak dicht en sluit vroeg. We hebben er geen gebruik van kunnen maken.

A brilliant location.

The shower cabinet was dirty especially the walls. Imho it failed the health & hygiene test. Dirty coffee cups. One of the cups were without a handle. The kettle was really dirty. I had to buy a scourer & clean it before use. The carpet needs better hoovering. Just one service socket & it was far away from the bed. I had to drag the bed very close to the service socket for charging. I was promised that invoice will be dispatched electronically to my email address as soon as payment was done but so far NO INVOICE in my mailbox. Invoice is important & there should be no delay at all. Contacting the hotel for invoice update once leaving the property should not be an option at all.

Excellent value for money and all the staff, from check-in to the bar and restaurant, we extremely friendly and helpful. Really can't stress that enough - super friendly.

Decor was tired and could do with a refurb. Walls were quite thin.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, our stay was hassle free and we really enjoyed it.

I honestly cannot say anything negative about Hotel 1843 Reading.

Very big room and good value for money
