It was good place to access lots of castles and gardens in Kent

Lovely, friendly family run bed and breakfast and pub. Good food. And reasonable prices

Not great that the "bar" is actually the check in counter; but the friendly staff (family) make up for it. The full hot breakfast was great, but would be nicer to not have one large room for dining & lobby etc. The narrow staircase with a 90 degree turn twice, & a hall doorway only about 5 feet high, is inconvenient; but the room being large & clean made up for it. Lots of hot water etc., but they follow what appears to be an English custom of no face cloths, A generous bonus was our phone call to relatives nearby being free.

Easy check in. Staff friendly. Comfortable rooms. Easy access to motorway.

This hotel was excellent in every way. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.The food was absolutely wonderful and even the customers were friendly and welcoming. I would strongly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Friendly staff, good sized room, good breakfast. Bright conservatory restuarant. Meal choice could have been a bit more extensive

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the quality of the bedrooms was not so good. One of the bedroom carpets was badly stained, the bathroom smelt of mouldy shower curtain, the plughole of the bath/shower was clogged with hair and water was slow to drain away, lastly one of the single pine beds was so creaky that every time you turned over it made such a noise that you inevitably woke up.

Great for our trip to visit Leeds Castle. Staff very helpful, breakfast great, Pub food OK and reasonably priced.

For the price I paid it was quite good, the room was ok, the beds comfortable, the bathroom clean. The food in the hotel was plentiful and well cooked with a good choice of meals. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and attentive.
