Great location and lots of old world charm!

Our room was small, it did have a door onto the veranda but that space wasn’t useable

Shame that the restaurant was not open - lounge area closed off and not utilised. Hallways and doors dirty, paintwork needs refresh.

They did not have an onsite restaurant

Location was excellent relative to Argent St., the hotel is close the main street, Argent St, where several sights and essential shops are located, not to forget the famous Palace Hotel. However, BH is very widespread and must-see locations require energy to reach, especially when weather is hot. The mining sights are all by wheel if you are not an m/s type. PS: the missus also liked the old fashioned feel of REH.

The bathroom was immensely small and required some contortionist maneuvers, if by accident the two of you ended up there. There is no public bar associated and the enormous restaurant was always empty (season was over). Finally, car parking was just a bit iffy, requiring at least one move of car per day (8am - 6pm), but anyway you'll need it for sight seeing.
