Cedarwood Lakeside Motel & Conference Venue

Location was what we where expecting. Lakeside beautiful. Staff was friendly. Clean rooms. Easy check in and out.

The reason why we booked our stay at Cedarwood was for our daughters 7th birthday, so we were instantly drawn by the playground and swimming facilities, unfortunately as we pulled up to our room we quickly noticed the playground was not what was advertised or as our daughters stated "abandoned" the outside swimming facilities weren't very child friendly as our girls were not happy with it (our girls will play in a puddle). However we could see that they are in the midst of renovating one side of the camp. So with that reason alone, I feel the price was abit to much for not having the facilities that drew us to stay at Cedarwood in the first place.

We Booked the hotel as we saw we can have hot spa and swimming pool there. but the hot spa it seems abandoned for years. and the swimming pool wroks but not clean enough.

We specifically booked this property because it advertised an outdoor spa, which was a key factor in our decision. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the very first thing we were told was that the outdoor spa was not working. This was extremely disappointing and should have been clearly communicated in advance or reflected in the listing. Additionally, the lounge chairs were in poor condition and did not match the quality shown in the photos. The overall experience felt misleading compared to what was advertised. We would not have chosen this property had we known about these issues beforehand. Transparency and accurate representation are essential, and sadly this stay did not meet expectations.

Location was quiet and beautiful Self contained room with all we required

We checked in at 7pmish. We were greeted, given a key and told where our room was. No.pleasantries or extra info. No complimentary milk given, resulting us going to buy our own in the morning to have with our coffee as the office didn't open before 9am. There was little hospitality from staff.

What we expected for the price we paid

The location is awesome!

The outdoor spa was not clean! The room's furnishings is out dated, the outside grounds need to be tidyed up.

This is an amazing spot right by the lake. Indoor spa pool was great. The hosts were helpful when we needed to change our dates.

Unfortunately this place has seen better days, it was clean which we appreciated, but the carpet was very stained which took away from the clean feel. Only one small back element on the stove was working and usable. The range hood was expelling rather than drawing air. The bathroom fan wasn't working. It was necessary to shut windows at dusk because of flying insects, so ventilation was a problem with cooking smells and steam. The wifi in our room wasn't working, and the hosts were unable to resolve that issue during our stay. A shame as this is a really lovely location looking out at the lake.
