Craigvrack Hotel & Restaurant

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Restaurant extremely good.

The rooms (junior suite) were very dark - the walls painted black with a black carpet. The mattress and pillows were very firm. The room seemed to be above the kitchens as there was a lot of noise from water rushing through the pipes (which must have been situated behind the wall) particularly in the evening, presumably as the staff were washing up the cooking utensils. There was a large TV on the wall with no instructions as to how it operated. Views from the rooms were mainly of roofs.

Nice view, polite staff. Food was very good breakfast and dinner.

A little off the main street on a ling hill so walking to town is a challenge on return.

Lovely hotel about half a mile up the road from the town centre (uphill but take it slowly and it’s no bother.) We had a lovely room with a nice view. Clean and fresh. Lovely breakfast. Would happily stay in this hotel again.

Shower could have been more powerful but I guess water pressure is an issue here (we have same problem at home therefore have to have an electric shower.

The most amazing restaurant if you like curry. The lady who served us in the restaurant was absolutely amazing

Lady on reception was not front of house no people skill at all. Also you have to book on line which is not ideal if you just want to pop in and book. The towels had a hint of currry to them.
