I had such a lovely stay at the hotel. The views were spectacular, and the hospitality warm. They fetched me and my oversized luggage at the train station, and save me a walk up the hill. Same thing heading back down. There is so much wonderful hiking in the region, and I’ll be back here for sure to keep exploring!

This was an amazing hotel with great views. We upgraded to a larger corner room which was very spacious. Friends that were with us had a much smaller room and bath that was similar to a cruise ship. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not good for me, but my husband liked them. They were probably down or something like that. They seemed fluffy until you laid on them and then they would sink. I had to double mine over in order to sleep. But that was the only thing that I can complain about. It was a little hike up the hill from the train station, but they picked us up when we arrived with luggage and the rest of the time we walked . There were a few English speaking stations on the TV. We ate breakfast which was delicious with lots of choices and the staff was very very helpful and friendly. There was fresh baked bread from a local bakery and made to order fried and scrambled eggs. Also soft boiled eggs were available. Be sure and try the scrambled eggs. They even offered information for places for dinner and once made reservations for us.

We stayed for 2 nights and we really appreciated their service and willingness to help (especially Eileen & Paul!). They reviewed our itinerary and gave us very helpful tips and insights. The room and the amenities are pretty basic and maybe abit small for U.S standards but we didn't really need anything fancier than that. The shower curtain in our room had some mold but they quickly replaced it when we told them about it. We also really enjoyed the fresh breakfast!

The breakfast is fabulous. Overall it is very pleasing, but the facility is a little dated, and walls and floors are thin allowing other guest to be heard quite clearly. Staff personnel are helpful and multi-lingual. Location is nice for a great view, but a little hike from the train station. Not to worry, you’re in Switzerland; everything is a hike.

The view from the balcony was stunning! The staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of fresh, local options. There was a bit of a hike up a large hill to get there, but they do offer pick up service from the train station. A+ all around!
