The Buttonwood Inn on Mt. Surprise

What a magical experience at the Buttonwood Inn. The property is breathtaking and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the room was simple but had everything we needed for a getaway that prioritized being outside. Bill and Paula were both wonderful, and the breakfasts and afternoon treats were AMAZING. Popular hiking trails were less than a mile away. I was surprised at how crowded downtown North Conway was even during covid. We happily picked up takeout and came back to the inn to enjoy our secluded stay. Highly recommend. We hope to be back.

The inn and its owners are delightful. The location of this place is absolutely perfect. Close to North Conway, Bartlett, Mt. Washington - but off the main traffic and away from the crowds. Beautiful trails start directly from the property too.

Great Place! Hosts were friendly. Food was very good. Secluded, but close enough to attractions. Everything worked. The rates were very reasonable, especially compared with some of the other B&B's in the area.

We loved the Buttonwood Inn. Such a lovely beautiful place. And oh my word the food was awesome! From amazing breakfast to the extra special dessert left out everyday. Highly recommend and we would love to go back.

Room was nice and very quiet. Great breakfast and gracious hosts. Only minus was hot tub had WAY too much chlorine.

Excellent stay with Paula and Bill. The Buttonwood Inn is located in beautiful surroundings and Paula and Bill serves the best tasting American breakfast I have ever had. We would recommend everyone to stay with Paula and Bill,

Thanks for egg breakfast before a hike! I love the dispensers in the shower rather than silly little bottles.

Quiet location excellent hosts huge comfy bed great breakfast...& a pool & hot tub 😁 What’s not to like!
