Arran Motel

Lovely stay at Arran Motel. The room was well equipped and clean and the bed & pillows were very comfortable. It's a lovely short walk into town along the lakefront.

This was an excellent place to stay for two nights in Te Anus, but I’m dropping the rating from excellent to just good for placing us in a handicapped accessible room, and not being willing to change our room, although we booked over three months ago. Reason offered was that we were the last ones to check in and other clients were staying longer so nothing else was available, neither of which was a legitimate reason. That aside, it is a very nice establishment. Attraction appearance, and neat and tidy grounds. Very friendly and accommodating staff, except for the accessible room issue. The room was nicely appointed, well equipped and sparkling clean and tidy. Wifi was quick with a steady signal. An assortment of teas and coffees, and nice quality toiletries provided. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very quiet with little outside noise, traffic or noisy neighbours. I would recommend you stay here, just make sure you specify not the accessible room, unless you need it.

Good location about a 10 min walk along the seafront to the town centre. A small family run motel in a quiet location with a good sized room. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. There was a laundry and a washing line available ,should you want to use instead of a tumble drier. The whole unit was very clean.

The bathroom suite whilst functional and very clean , was dated. There was staining in the sink presumably from people pouring tea or other kitchen type ingredients down the bathroom sink and the internal handle to the shower cubicle was long past needing replacing.

Large rooms, well equipped. Bed comfy.

Everything was great.
