I like staying in unusual places. But this was a little much. Plastic protectors on the pillows? Why? If it’s to ensure against bed bugs, that makes me even more uncomfortable.

"Budget friendly"

We stayed at Baker's Motel for a Regatta at Dillon Lake. The motel was clean and quaint. We got just what we wanted; a budget friendly place close to the venue. Check in and out was a breeze. Very friendly staff. Would stay again if in the area.

The Owner was there at check-in. Nice guy. Room was clean but very dated. New A/C and heat worked well. Wished there shampoo but at least they had soap. Not presented as a five star hotel and this is exactly what I expected from the description. I’d stay there again
