Dukes Head Hotel Kings Lynn

Central location. Room was fine. Staff were helpful though the woman who checked in before us was given the card to a room that was already occupied(!), so something not quite right there.

To some extent, the old-fashioned frontage on the square doesn't match the hotel experience. Behind that frontage is a very large hotel block, more like a Travelodge/Premier Inn only a bit more expensive. Bike storage was limited - bikes had to be carried up a flight of stairs to be left securely (to be fair, this was because the ground floor facility was being used that evening)

No where else innKing’s Lynn have I paid over £6 for a pint. The pub next door £3.50, the pub across the square sub £3. The hotel and its bar are nice though. I didn’t eat here but the menu looked ok.

Stay here a few times during the year and it's always as nice as every time

We were given an upgrade to a suite. Staff were very polite and helpful

Outside the room were the air vents from the kitchen which were noisy until about 9:30pm and gave a slight cooking odour to the room. Some of the carpets in the room and in the corridor had spillage stains.

Poor room extraction outside my window water in bathroom warm and that was the cold tap poor breakfast asked for a porridge and got warm milk and couple of oats breakfast overcooked and boiled mushrooms
