I had made several special requests and was fortunate to have Diego take care of it. He truly made our stay comfortable. He is an asset to the Fosshotel. Diego genuinely cared that we had everything we needed. He did this in a very friendly manner with concern for well being

Convenient for Barnafoss and Krauma

Another great stay at another Fosshotel location - this location in Reykholt is modernly furnished, recently renovated, and very clean and tidy. The spa and gym are standout. It was a quiet and delightful stay for us. Our room was quite large with plenty of space for our multiple suitcases and bags, and a beautiful walk out patio. The staff were super kind and helpful and we’ve had nothing but great experiences with Fosshotel, and in Reykholt specifically.

Great hotel, amazing staff and delicious food in restaurant and breakfast. We were celebrating a birthday (50th) and got a great surprise in the room at the arrival. Highly recommended. We will definitely visit Fosshotel Reykholt again.

Very satisfied with the stay, I upgraded to a superior room and it was really spacious and good. The TV was quite small though. really nice neighbourhood to take a evening walk and the northern lights really lit up the evening sky. Two chargins stations located on the parking lot - came in handy.

Fosshotel was brilliant! Myself, my wife and our two sons (14 and 18) stopped for 4 nights in February. The location was perfect to get out and explore Western and North Western Iceland (we drove to Akureyri, Snæfellsjökull National Park, Akranes and Barnafoss on day trips). On arrival the welcome was warm, friendly and helpful. All of the staff throughout the stay were friendly, cheerful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and the two dinners we ate at the hotel were reasonably priced (for Iceland hotels!) and of extremely high quality- the menu was readily adapted to suit our slightly fussy 14 year old too! The rooms were large and comfortable and the surroundings of the hotel were stunning. To top it off, the location was suitably isolated to catch some incredible views of the Northern Lights, which put on a show for 3 nights of our stay! In summary- an excellent hotel, in a brilliant location, with fabulous staff. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, or book another stay here

Outstanding service, relaxed enviroment. Good food at the restaurant. Staff polite and kind. Nice room. Only thing was not acceptable was at the spá, there are no separate lockers and changing rooms. It's "all gender" open showers, lockers and open toilets so we needed to use our room for changing. If women or men need to be mingling naked, they should do it in private sections, not with ordinary/regular people. But over all we recommend this hotel.

Great room. Amazing breakfast, the best we tasted in Iceland. Spa experience was ok.
