Hotel Thira

Very nicely run family hotel within walking distance of town and public transportation. Very relaxing.

The family was very nice and helpful when it came to getting taxis and ordering a latte or arranging an outing. I booked what my reservations said was a Queen size bed but got a full size bed which wasn’t comfortable for my son and I. They did provide a pad and rollaway but it was old and rusty and 3 slats fell through the first night he slept on it and when we mentioned it she said she knew it had a problem. We also had a problem getting hot water in the shower.

Very convenient location. Well family managed hotel with very clean rooms and clean bathroom. Very good value for money. Friendly staff who would guide you for your tours and other things to do.

This is a delightful, family run hotel in a good location. The problem was, on our last day here, there was no hot water so we had to take cold showers. In Greece, most hotels use solar hot water, electricity is used as backup. Overnight the hot water can be depleted. The solution is to have the electric kick in when the temp drops.

Cozy hotel. The room and pool are nice. The staff was helpful and booked us transportation from the airport.

Really nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice (small) pool and really pretty outdoor seating areas. Rooms a little basic, but we'll air conditioned and having everything you need

We had a great stay at Hotel Thira. The family run hotel was a great atmosphere and the location was perfect, close enough to Thira without staying in the thick of it all. We hired quads from the business underneath the hotel which were great to explore the island! The towels were changed daily and although the bathroom is small and bed was a little hard, the pros outweighs the cons when considering the location and friendliness of staff who are always willing to answer questions and help.

Amazing hotel with staff willing to go out of their way to please you. Great location really close to the tourist part of thira but far enough away that walking noise does not bother you. I would return in a heartbeat.

Just a short walk to the Caldera and 10 minutes into Thira this family run home grown facility hands you exquisite but basic immaculate accommodations . Marriott and Hilton could learn much here. Grandmas homemade daily yogurt is worldclass
