Hotel Thira

Staff really nice especially Artemis at reception. Location was excellent, not in the busy part of Fira but a short walk to where the action is, to shops, restaurants and bus station. We loved our stay at this hotel.

Bathroom tiny .Bed like a rock back pain every day as mattress was so thin about 2 inches only five sun loungers for pool side

Lovely family hotel. We were busy seeing the island so did not use the pool or our balcony. It is further out of town than is shown on the web site map.

If you want to shop up a storm then this is the hotel fro you! The family run hotel is in walking distance to the central shopping area as well as the area along the coast to view the most amazing sunsets. The simple wholesome breakfasts prepare you for a day of adventure ...try the local yoghurt with fig jam - delicious... The rooms are simple and kept very tidy, the only downside is that at times there can be noise from the local traffic

The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very clean, but the room was not what I expected. Both the room and the very small bathroom were very old and dated, the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around. As we were leaving, a peek in a few other rooms showed they had been updated. Had I known, I would have asked to move. I wouldn't stay there again...

Hotel Thira is a small family run hotel. All of the family members are extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us. Tony gave us a ride to the bus station when we left and Maria made several phone calls for us regarding a car rental on another island! It would be hard to find to find better hospitality than we received at hotel Thira.

We stayed for 5 nights at Hotel Thira. It was in an excellent location. We walked to the main shopping precinct regularly. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We went on 2 tours and our guides picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel.

The family made this hotel warm and welcoming. The cleanliness was impeccable and the rooms and setting were lovely. The fridge in the room was a very handy addition A must try from the breakfast buffet is the yohurt amd homemade fig jam. While on the small side the pool was adequate and made it good for chatting to other residents, and finding out their travel tips for Santorini and the other Greek islands many had visited.This is a hotel I would definitely recommend for those looking for a less commercial option and somewhere I would return to..
