Hotel Thira

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Thira. Maria and her parents are a delight, and they are helpful in every way possible. They gave us lots of great recommendations, and were always happy to answer our questions. The hotel itself has a great terrace area available to all guests, a great little pool, and the family also owns a car/moto/ATV rental place directly downstairs, which was very convenient for our time there! The hotel was at all times spotless, and nice and quiet, despite it's central location. I would highly recommend Hotel Thira for it's location and just how nice it is. It's really pretty :)

The hotel was in a good position with nice views and a nice pool. The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome. We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Very friendly for this family owned hotel Maria makes you feel like its your home. even took us to the bus station and ferry port after missing are bus. The gift they gave our daguater on depature was a nice supprise

The family that run the place are so accomodating, they went out of their way to help. It made the stay very memorable and I would recommend it to others.

Great family hotel. grandma and grandpa verY hospitable giving us a sample of his port. Easy walk to Fira. Pool great. Cleanest place I've been in. Loved our stay. Great views of the east side of island

From the first point of contact Hotel Thira were fantastic. They emailed me to give directions and arrange a pick up from the bus station. Maria on the front desk was a delight. So friendly and eager to help me in whatever way she could with advice on what to see and do. She also booked a tour for me. The pool area is so relaxing and a nice break away from the busy Santorini experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean. They are a good size and have aircon and fridge. Beds are comfortable and it's quiet. A short walk (5 mins) and you are in the shopping area of the Caldera. Right in the thick of it. Also so close to the bus station. Great location !! The entire family are so lovely and generous with their time and do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

The family owned hotel was excellent with extremely friendly and helpful staff.

My daughter and I stayed here for 6 nights. The family who run this hotel are happy friendly and very polite. We didn't like the first room we were given as it was at the back of the hotel but after a polite request to move we were given a lovely bright room wth a large terrace with sea view. The main streets of Fira are a 5 minute walk and the bus station is close by. We moved to the beach for 5 nights and the owner of the hotel took us to the bus station in his car. The pool area is lovely - we had it to ourselves most days as we walked into Fira in the morning then back to the pool to swim and then back into Fira or Firostafani in the evenings. Lovely place to stay. No bar though and we didn't try the breakfast.

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY NOTHING WAS EVER TOO MUCH TROUBLE. WE INITIALLY WERE DISAPPOINTED BY THE VIEWS FROM OUR ROOM BUT AS SOON AS THEY WERE ABLE WE WERE MOVED TO A ROOM WITH A BALCONY AND THE VIEWS ACROSS SANTORINI WERE A DELIGHT. THE HOTEL WAS SPOTLESS DUE TO THE HARD WORKING CLEANERS AND OFFERED A REAL GREEK EXPERIENCE RIGHT FROM THE GREEK LANGUAGE LESSONS FROM MARIA BOTH THE GRAND MOTHER AND GRANDAUGHTER AND THE LOVELY BREAKFAST PROVIDED BY GRANDAD. THE WHOLE FAMILY NEVER STOPPED FROM EARLY MORNING TO LATE AT NIGHT. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IF ITS A GREEK UNSPOILED HOLIDAY YOU ARE AFTER.
