"Staying at Blue Ridge Manor Bed and Breakfast"

Darlene and David are great hosts. We were welcomed by David, shown to our room, and given instructions for operating the TV, DVD player, and other details to make our stay comfortable. The area is secluded and quiet and convenient to the Fancy Gap, VA entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway (MP 200). We walked the property and enjoyed meeting the dogs and chickens. The room is in a private home and doesn't have a separate entrance to come and go. But, this type of arrangement would be great for those who enjoy an atmosphere that includes a "family feel." It's important to use the driving directions they send to you to find their location. Do not rely on GPS or Google Maps.

This was our first stay at a real B&B. We were apprehensive at first about staying "in someone's home". However, this apprehension quickly evaporated. The hosts are very friendly, very professional and very experienced. The room was comfortable and our privacy was respected. The two other couples that were also there were friendly and the conversation was enjoyable. The breakfast of French Toast, thick bacon and fresh fruit was terrific!

Make sure you follow the directions they send you and NOT Google Maps as you will be lost in the countryside! Very nice cozy B&B. Enjoyed my stay

It was definitely away from everything a place to go to relax and hide out, but you had no privacy. I felt like I was invading the home owners privacy, they live in the home you're staying in, but they were nice. Had to go across the hall to get to the bathroom and go in there fridge if you needed some ice. Just felt awkward, but they were nice people.

Very comfortable home in the mountains, close to the Blue Ridge. the bedroom was private and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with good conversation with the other guests. Darleen and Dave were gracious hosts.
