It was good, I was upgraded to a disabled room, which was larger, and the staff we attentive.
We felt very safe at this location, convenient to shopping and appreciated in in-house dining as we were in Marseille over the weekend.
One nigt stay. We had a nice room and a good breakfest.. Easy access to the Cruise ships.
Modern hotel in area where dockland buildings have been converted to shops and apartments. Tram stop outside the hotel and metro within 200m take you to the city centre within 10 minutes. Marseilles has a busy centre with plenty of restaurants. A short bus ride along the coast road leads to some fine beaches.
The Ibis Centre Euromed Marseilles is outstanding in every way. There is a tram right outside the hotel that quickly and smoothly goes to the historic center and Vieux Port areas. There is also an incredible mall with great dining overlooking the harbor 2 blocks away. We were allowed a very late checkout as we had a late night flight back to Barcelona. We would like to give a special mention to both Yassine and Oceane who were tremendously helpful and friendly.
Great position made it easy to walk around the city and also close to tram!
Pros: checkin and checkout at 12, great wi-fi connection, awesome buffet breakfast, spacious bathroom, 2 metro stops away from the central station, modern area around the hotel (docks etc) Cons: dinner service in the hotel's restaurant is poor; too many clients for just a few waiters/cooks
Good hotel, information and photos on Expedia very accurate. Quiet and clean, helpful and friendly staff. No fridge. WiFi provided but I didn't need to access it so don't know if works smooth. Big shoppping centre just round the corner, small grocery shops not so far. Tram stop, buses and Metro station in the near proximity. Fair 30 minutes walk to the Port, town's centre. Easy to get back and fro the airport: red metro line to StCharles station (2stops, quick journey), airport shuttle bus from the station every 15/20 minutes - gets you to the airport in 25/30 minutes. Overall - very pleasant stay.
The hotel is within walking distance to the waterfront restaurant area. Nice for an evening stroll to and from dinner.
