Tradewinds Motel

Property was clean, but very dated and tired. Location was great, but people smoking at picnic tables outside our patio door necessitated us closing our door and not be able to enjoy the sounds and scent of the ocean.

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our special stay enjoyable.

We liked the beach access from the private deck. It was quiet and relaxing.

The bed was too hard.

We loved our stay. If you want an ocean view with great beach access this is the place!!! The rock stairs down to the beach are cute and ok with a good railing to hold onto, but not for the elderly. Room was well taken care of and very clean. Bed was comfy, could use upgraded pillows. Staff were very friendly and kind!!! We didn't take our dog bc it said no pets but there were several guests with pets. Confused about that one. Over-all we had a wonderful relaxing stay!! Definitely will stay again!

Spot was great, only convenient if you get a beach view. Walls are very thin, you could hear everything going on throughout the building, even cracking a window you can hear small chattering. Room & bathroom were super clean.

Need A/C in the room got very hot both nights . Thankfully I was able to open the window in bedroom . Nice place and quiet away from HWY 101 first time staying in Rockaway Beach Oregon

Had a nice stay. Our room didn’t face the beach. Everything was clean and as expected. While it’s an older motel, they do a good job maintaining it. They have lovely flowers on the front. I wish it was more walkable to town. It was a very short drive.

great view, comfortable bed

remodeling needs to be finished in the room (baseboards to the right of the desk), and fireplace was not functional. the heater in the wall near the bathroom really is an eyesore compared to the lovely remodel

Hotel is in a great location with beach access. The list of rules reminded me of staying with my in-laws. The upside of the long rule list is that the room was clean and free of any pet or smoke odors. The room would benefit from an upgrade of the tub and sink faucets. They are hard to operate.
