Peaceful , clean and everyone is nice. Perfect service, perfect breakfast.

On the beach which was excellent - clean and beautiful The chalet was spacious and well cared for. Serviced well every day and staff met all anticipated expectations for us Staff were fabulous. Helpful beyond necessity. Fabulous breakfast

Very little. There was insufficient storage space for our things. Dinner in the restaurant was slow and only one voucher could be used each time

We stayed here for 10 nights in February. The hotel has a very 'old-fashioned' appreance, with lots of wood, exposed beams, creating a 'colonial' feel the the building. The grounds, although not large, are beautifully-kept with floral shrubs and ornamental ponds. Service throughout was excellent with staff keen to ensure an enjoyable stay. Food was first class, served with care and style, all of which adds to the ambience. Our room was nicely furnished, again in an 'older' style (not a criticism) with exposed timber floorboards and wood panelling on the walls. There were some elements which we did not enjoy however. One of which was the noisy air-conditioning. Fortunately, we were able to use the unit in the living room-area at night, and turn off the unit in the bedroom. Had we not done so, this would have been a serious annoyance. The other irritation (from our perspective) was the almost-constant 'background' music which was played throughout the hotel, including through speakers on the landings outside the rooms (and sometimes very early in the mornings). Worse, the music was often (not always) improvised or 'free' jazz (which is most-definitely not our taste). On a couple of oaccasions during the day, the staff turned it down/off for us, which we appreciated. I never understand hotels' obsession with background noise. This hotel is in a beautiful beach location, the wind blows through the trees in the garden and the gentle sounds of the fountains in the ponds are all perfect, natural and all anyone could ever need. Otherwise, we enjoyed a lovely stay in a hotel that has a distinct style and ambience. One final observation is that this is definitely NOT a hotel for children. The grounds are small, and the swimming/splash pools are very close to some of the rooms. During our visit, there were two families with (very-badly behaved) children who were annoying other guests (Obviously the parents did nothing). The staff did their best but we do understand it is difficult for them to 'chastise' guests. My suggestion would be that the hotel becomes 'adult-only' to which it is well-suited.

I liked everything, great room, big comfortable bed, amazing balcony, good beach, breathtaking sunrise. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat, this is the place. You don't really need to leave the resort but it's a short grab ride into town if you need to do some shopping and a 7-11 is a 10min walk(one way).

Ideaal hotel voor mensen die van rust houden. Zeer kleinschalig, boutique hotel. Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt, veel keuze voor lunch en diner. De tuin en het zwembad worden enorm goed onderhouden en het personeel probeert ervoor te zorgen dat je kan genieten van rust en comfort. De zonsopgang is hier goed te zien en het zwembad met zicht op zee en zitbanken in het water, zorgde ervoor dat wij helemaal konden ontspannen. Voldoende plaats op de ligbedden alsook mogelijkheden genoeg om in de zon/schaduw te liggen. Op de kamer hadden we alles wat we nodig hadden: huisslippers, strandslippers en kamerjassen, een strandtas die ook als rugzak kan gebruikt worden, voldoende drinkwater, koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Zeer groot en aangenaam bed. We boekten onze rit van Bangkok naar dit hotel en terug via het hotel zelf en waren hier ook enorm tevreden over.

Voor ons geen minpunten, maar zeker nuttige informatie voor sommige mensen: - Het hoofdgebouw met 2 verdiepingen heeft geen lift. Ook op het domein zijn er wel wat trapjes om op en af te gaan - je hoort in het hoofdgebouw 's avonds wel nog even de muziek en de fontein beneden. Alles wordt wel stil rond 22u - Aan het zwembad is er geen bar, maar wel een telefoon zodat je kan bellen om iets van drinken/eten te laten leveren aan je ligstoel - als je buiten het hotel wil gaan eten is het aan te raden een taxi te bestellen (of de aangeboden shuttle te gebruiken). Er is wel op wandelafstand een 7/11. Hua Hin strand is toch nog 20 minuten rijden ongeveer.
