Wine a little pricy!

We’ve just spent a glorious 5 nights and 4 days here! The staff, the rooms, the grounds, the meals were all great! My father is a little unsteady on his feet and walks with a walking stick, and found it very easy to get around the hotel and use the pool! It’s a really friendly and intimate hotel. There is generally a really lovely vibe! Thank you, thank you for having us. Can’t wait to come back!

There are 14 rooms in the main building and 10 Beach Villas, all boasting breathtaking sea views. 🌊 I stayed in the Beach Villa, which is located right by the main swimming pool. The villa’s spacious private terrace provided a front-row seat to the mesmerizing ocean view. The interior design is inspired by Victorian Gingerbread Houses from the Rama VI era, adding a charming and nostalgic touch. The room itself was beautifully designed, featuring a plush, comfortable bed, a bathtub with fragrant bath amenities and rose petals, and a complimentary minibar. Every detail was carefully curated to ensure a luxurious and cozy stay. 🍽️ Dining at Deva Bistro. The resort's Deva Bistro offers all-day dining, serving a variety of delicious dishes in a setting that reflects the nostalgic charm of Hua Hin. I had the ‘Phetchaburi Journey’ set menu, which showcased local ingredients from Phetchaburi province. Every dish was crafted to perfection, delivering a truly authentic and delightful culinary experience. 🌟 Devasom Hua Hin Resort is a perfect escape for those who appreciate heritage-inspired design, tranquility, and exceptional hospitality. Whether you’re unwinding by the beach, indulging in exquisite cuisine, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, this resort offers a truly memorable experience.

Food could be a bit better

Very nice and small resort (only 24 rooms/villas). Very clean. Very comfortable. It still did not get a 5 star rating from me because something is missing - the lack of warmth. For a small and luxury resort, I would have expected the staff to go further in ensuring that each and every guest is "pampered". They are efficient. But not 100% helpful. When asked whether the kitchen can do a specific dish the next day, the response was we do not have the ingredients. Surely they can obtain those ingredients the next day and prepare the dish for the guests if they so want. These are ingredients readily available in Hua Hin. When asked whether I could have a late check out, the immediate response was that someone will move into my room the next day. Even though the booking system shows that my room type is available on the next day when I check out. I would have expected the staff to check the system to see whether my requests could be accommodated by "moving" the guests around. IF not, it is perfectly ok, but please check first. It is these tiny "miss" that did not make me feel that the staff want to go the extra mile. If they try harder, this hotel will truly be 5 stars. I will just add that the only staff who impressed me were the cleaners and the driver who drove us to and from the hotel to the clock tower.

The best place to rest and relax. Nice staffs. Good food. Relax atmosphere.I always hope to come back to Devasom as much as possible. You will have peaceful happy feeling just striding around the hotel area Ang the beach. Idly sitting by the pool reading is the happy experience

Style and character. Huge bedroom (signature suite) extremely comfortable. Small exquisite details and touches in the rooms not had anywhere else in Thailand e.g. rose petals for bathing! Luxury robes! We had the pleasure of talking to the owner and learning about the hotel history. Staff all lovely and attentive! Loved our stay here!!

Having to leave

If "the hot water takes a little time to come through" is the ONLY negative you can say about a hotel, you know you've hit the jackpot. A truly wonderful oasis of excellent service, stunning location, and amazing staff. From the second I stepped out of my Bangkok taxi to the last interaction, every member of staff and department were exceptional. The room was very large, with great views of the beautifully kept grounds and the sea beyond. The food was excellent too, and very reasonably priced for the quality and variety. Breakfast options were vast and varied, from traditional Thai to international. Service was excellent, as standard. The free complimentary mini bar of soft drinks and snacks was re-stocked daily and over-stocked with anything I mentioned as a favourite item. I didn't even need to ask. I casually mentioned to a member of reception that I'd previously had skin cancer on the top of my head... and every day, without fail or request, a chair was delivered to my sunbed for me to sit in the shade, if needed. Simply exceptional service and thoughtfulness. I stayed for 12 nights, and the hotel and staff didn't put a foot wrong. I've been blessed to have travelled extensively and globally, and this boutique, twenty-four room privately owned oasis is as close to perfection as any hotel I've stayed at. If you only ever stay at one hotel, this is the one.

This hotel is exceptional. We spent a month in Thailand and stayed in 11 hotels. This one was our favourite. We are just sorry we only spent 3 nights here.. On arrival you can tell this hotel is going to be special. The open reception with the stunning view across the lawn, pool and the sea just speaks for itself. The hotel is maintained to very high standards and has a British Colonial style to it. It is just perfect. The staff are all lovely, very helpful and just make you feel at home. Loved the way the breakfast is set out, almost like an afternoon tea vibe. The evening complimentary cocktail on the rocking chairs on the lawn is such a lovely touch. We ate dinner in the hotel and Jack gave us excellent service. The food was lovely. We had 2 rooms on the third floor of the main building. The rooms are beautiful with huge comfortable beds, an open bathroom (doors to close if you wish) and stunning views. The little villas that sit either side of the pool also looked beautiful. The hotel is a little out of town but runs a shuttle bus into the town a few times a day, which is good. We got a taxi back for 250/300 tbh. There is a 7/11 along the road which is handy also and a few local restaurants/bars along the beach. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon :)
