Maison Tulum

Maison Tulum is lovely and quiet, it has a lot of charm and character. The staff are very friendly and accomodating.

Ein tolles Hotel superzentral gelegen! Die Gestaltung und Dekoration der Anlage ist außergewöhnlich mit den Treppen, Wegen, Wasserbecken und Balkonen inmitten vieler Dschungelpflanzen - einfach toll. Es gibt eine große Dachterrasse, wo man abends noch sitzen oder in einer Hängematte liegen kann. Das kontinentale Frühstück auf dem Zimmer hilft, wenn man ganz frühe Touren geplant hat und noch kein Frühstückscafe aufhat. Zum richtigen Frühstück oder Mittag geht man am besten in das Café in der Anlage, was Kaffee selbst röstet und alles frisch zubereitet. Der Hausherr Guillermo und seine Frau Flor hatten viele Empfehlungen für Ausflüge, Tauchkurse und Mietwagen. Wir haben davon vieles umgesetzt!! Die Lage des Hotels ist top. 50m entfernt gibt es eine sehr günstige Wäscherei. Sehr hilfreich. Der ADO Busbahnhof ist nur 5min entfernt.

Not very clean, there were hairs on the towels. On Booking they describe a continental breakfast was included. The page shows a stand with croissants and other pasteries. This suggests this would be the breakfast. In reality the breakfast consisted of 2 slices of breaks and peanutbutter in our mini fridge. And the pictures are taken from the café connected to the hotel. This is very misleading.

Goede ligging bij het centrum Tulum Pueblo. Fijn dakterras, leuk gedecoreerd.

Het is inclusief ontbijt, dit staat echter in de koelkast, 2x boterhammen en jam, 2x pakje sap.

Guillermo was een goede gastheer. Guillermo gaf ons goede adviezen en wist ons goed te helpen als wij iets wilde weten. Het is een leuk klein hotel. De kamer was ruim en schoon en we hadden een goed bed. De papagaai en de 6 poesen maakten het extra leuk. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van de hoofdweg waar zat restaurantjes te vinden zijn en op loopafstand het busstation waar de lijnbussen aankomen. Aan deze hoofdweg stoppen ook de bussen of de Colectivo's die je naar Zona Arqueológica de Tulum of naar Coba vervoeren.

Douchestraal was niet zo sterk en het water was niet al te warm. Wij hadden het niet gelijk door, maar het ontbijt dat bij de prijs is inbegrepen, ligt in de koelkast op de kamer. Het ontbijt is dus niet in het restaurant, dat kan wel, maar dan moet je betalen voor het ontbijt dat je daar besteld. Het ontbijt op de kamer bestaat uit 2 sneetjes brood per persoon, boter en jam en een pakje Jus Orange. Op de koelkast staat een waterkoker, thee en koffie en een broodrooster voor als je je brood wil roosteren.

Very colourful and quirky. Beautifully decorated. Lovely roof terrace with hammocks. Guillermo was attentive and helpful. Handy location near the ADO bus station. Great having a kettle, toaster and fridge in the room. Good value for money.

Nothing really. A small thing - the breakfast items in the room are great to have, but a bit more butter and jam would have been nice as we were two people.
