Manager Claudio made us feel at home and was very welcoming Lovely classic hotel for a treat

The feeling in the bar area, the foyer and the breakfast restaurant.

The shower screen in 115 was a very poor fit and leaks all over the bathroom floor.

Great location, lovely old style.

The gym wasn’t very good, no cleaning stuff for before or after using the equipment (only hand anti bac). The outdoor pool was lovely! Annoyingly my adapter would only work in one plus socket in the bathroom, which charged incredibly slowly. The other plug sockets are the very old style and non of my adapters work with the old sockets. That was irritating. The night manager who greeted me was lovely, really friendly and helpful. I found the staff behind the front desk during the day not as friendly - it was very quiet and whenever I walked past, they didn’t usually look up and say hello which I found a bit uncomfortable, especially as I was on my own. Excellent breakfast, very good - I did feel a little like I was being chased out as it shut at 10.30 so I ate between 10-10.30 the only one there at that time and I felt (maybe understandably) that they wanted me gone asap, no checking for more tea, etc.

First hotel with car use free to go into town. unbelievable

Elevators look a bit outdated Entrance gate requires you to step out of car

The BREAKFAST was truly surprisingly superb.

The spa experience was not what we were hoping for. Lots of paperwork and an odd configuration.
