Southernmost House

Great historical place to stay. Staff is amazing. Couldn’t ask for more.

I have always wanted to spend time at this property. I have been traveling to KW for work or leisure most of my life but always stayed in properties closer to MILE 0. This property was always one of my favorites to look at. The history of the property is also something to behold. Original Hemingway letters are in the dining area and common areas throughout the property. The room was large and well equipped. The Seaside Cafe on the property is exceptional. The menu items were delicious. The continental breakfast serves enough items to get you out the door and exploring. The house manager Alex was friendly and accommodating throughout. The staff overall is excellent. Our views from room 107 were beautiful. There is a pool and cold water offered poolside all day. We were walking distance from every major attraction so the location is great. I really enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning. It's a historic property with friendly staff, at a great location and large rooms in the main house. You also have great food directly on premises. I HIGHLY recommend and will be back.

Stayed in cottage 104. Beautiful place & ornate. Saw mildew in the bathroom. Needs a renovation. They charged extra $25+ tax each day for parking on top of their crazy rate. Roosters on property woke us up way too early too! Pool is nice but not beach really…platform to sunbathe by ocean.

My favorite part of my stay was Dean! What a wonderful host! He was very informational and told us all about the mansion and wgo stayed there. The pool was also nice. Never did we have to wait for a chair and the bar was very convenient. The only downfall was the smell from the ocean. The old seaweed washing on shore was like sewage but the property couldnt do anything about that as it was around all of the keys. Be prepared for wild life too. We got visits from roosters, chicks, cats and iguana (which i shared a salad with). I would definitely consider staying there again!

We had a fabulous time in the Keys. Our stay at the mansion was perfect. Everyone made us feel comfortable. Outstanding location and stay. We will visit again.

The resort is wonderful, very unique. The room was more spacious than anticipated and the pool was awesome! Would definitely come back. Staff was wonderful as well!

I’ve been going to Key West for 20 years - and stayed in many hotels this one was by far our favourite so beautiful romantic quiet, I loved the room and the four poster bed, the pool area was quiet and had a delightful view over the ocean, the breakfast was a good selection for all tastes! Staff very friendly and professional- I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough - we didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful, romantic location right on the water. Infinity pool overlooking the Gulf. We stayed in Bungalow 103 which was right next to the pool and had a view of the ocean. Room was great with kitchen and walk in shower. We will be back!!
