ibis Laval Le Relais d'Armor

We stopped at the Ibis Le Relais D'Armor for one night on the way from Brittany to Paris. We chose it because we like Ibis Hotels and it is very close to the A 81 highway that we were traveling on. It is located in a light industrial area north of Laval. It has nice quiet tree lined property around it. The hotel is modern, nicely decorated and seems to be largely occupied by businessmen traveling to the adjacent corporate offices. We had a handicapped room that was quite large. Dinner was buffet style and very ample with a substantial entrée bar and 4 selections of main courses. Staff were pleasant. Parking on site.

I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel ( although there's no reason why as we have used Ibis hotels before and never had any complaints ). There was plenty of parking, the building was very clean and well decorated, the staff were courteous and helpful, the rooms were more than ample to our requirements for a couple of nights and breakfast was very good indeed. I can't rate the evening meal (although the menu looked quite good) as we ate at the excellent Brasserie which is just next door on the evening we arrived. It was so good that we went back on our second evening. All in all I would have no hesitation in stopping here again if back in the area.

Stayed here overnight on the way from the S. France to Cherbourg. The checkin was fast & efficient & the staff were professional. The room was meticulously clean & as it turned out the bed was extremely comfortable! We had booked two double rooms & both were of this high standard. The breakfast in the morning was lovely with plenty of selection from boiled eggs to cereal to various breads, cheeses & meat. I had hoped for a kettle in the room with a couple of proper cups which wasn't the case but everything else made up for this minor omission. Drinks in the bar both alcoholic & non are expensive but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel je suis arrivée tard et pourtant toujours quelqu'un à l'accueil pour m'accueillir. Le petit déjeuner est bon avec beaucoup de choix. La chambre confortable et au calme.

The hotel was great, excellent service and a comfortable stay. As a solo traveller (and woman), the location wasn't good. I was there for a friend's wedding but the hotel itself was very far away from the main town, basically on an industrial estate, which meant I couldn't go out for a casual stroll to explore. There are no other restaurants and cafes nearby. So it's good for a business trip, not so great for holiday.

A comfortable and clean room, acceptably good food.

Good location if you need to go on the highway. There are couple of restaurant very close. Free parking and free internet. Breakfast was ok. Room was very clean. Only negative point is that all room doors are very noisy. Shouldn't be hard solving this issue

Hotel was in the final stages of being refurbished, but we were not disturbed by this. The Hotel was very easy to find, just off the ring road in an industrial estate.

Comfortable and clean rooms; air conditioning was inadequate for summer heat. Restaurant was standard food and value. Good stop for overnight accommodation.

We were looking for a hotel under an hour from Le Mans offering comfort and value and this ticks the box. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms had been updated and the bathrooms had good powerful showers, the beds comfortable and importantly quiet, so we got a decent nights sleep. The restaurant staff were all pleasant and the three course dinner at 17 euros terrific. Recommended
