"Great find"

Bed comfortable, room large, nice bathroom. Fantastic bar on site, friendly site. We didn't eat there on this occasion but food looked great. We visit Gateshead a few times a year and will definitely use this hotel in future.

Free parking. Nice modern communal areas.

No lift. Room was dated. Found a plastic bag over the smoke alarm and a screw in the shower so you could switch it on.

Main road could be noisy from room. Rooms need a freshen up and more plug sockets.

Location was perfect for the activities we had planned

Heated towel rail was on full blast continuously but couldn't find a switch to turn it off .. room was like a furnace 😂. Had to borrow a fan from reception
