Illinois Beach Hotel

The majority of the staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The location is amazing. The food was excellent. Though I think the bathroom floors need updating. Other than that, I really like this hotel. I have stayed here twice.

Great place to stay. It was unexpected being in a State park. Excellent food in the restaurant.

This was perfect for our adult family trip. Love the beach ⛱️ Love the commons area to gather for coffee, dinner, or games. It's totally a great Midwest stay for adults or family. Look forward to that big pool renovation being complete.

I hate to say this, but the menu changed from last year ..... I was looking forward to the shrimp dinner, but it was removed.

There were tons of cobwebs with bugs stuck in them everywhere. The grounds were very unkept. There were weeds everywhere. There was mold growing on the wall in my room.

Feel like home

Rooms are very outdated, our air conditioner leaked all over balcony and made a hudge puddle couldn’t even go out on the balcony, there were so many cobwebs everywhere and spiders. Like no one has touched it for a very long time. Had to ask for new towels, rooms weren’t cleaned in the 3 days there.. the bar & restaurant had good food, and of course the location & views are Amazing. But for the price, it’s definitely not worth the $$. And the pool was under construction, should have been informed of that.. not worth the $$ Entire hotel, inside, outside needs a huge overhaul..

Mold in rooms and ac/heater units, bugs all over balcony, every floor in the entire hotel needs a deep clean. Staff is extremely nice but the hotel is gross which is a real shame bc the location is unbeatable.

Nothing, lake view …was over car park and a glimpse of the lake in the distance.

It was filthy dirty …rooms, reception, restaurant…everything was dirty especially the floors and carpets.

Clean room and great views from our room
