Palms Bed & Breakfast

The owner Theresa was very nice and even allowed us to arrive at 2am due to our late flight time. Room comfortable and clean, nice assortment for breakfast.

Before arrival the residence informed that building work was ongoing at the property and the room was unavailable and offered a 'sister' venue which was unacceptable. Having booked in at a later date the venue was still undergoing building works and drilling and general noise and disturbance was overwhelming and I was forced to leave the venue .

Theresa could not be more helpful. There is a small pool at the rear which we used, and helped us wind down after travelling. There was everything we needed in the room, kettle, tea. Iron etc. The room was a little compact but appropriate The wet room was just the right size.. TzHe bed was very comfortable and we slrptvwell. The location was about 10 minute walk from the rail station but buses ran nearby every 15 minutes or so. Get a day ticket 7bAus dollars a day, but the buses do not give change. Trains run till at least midnight. All in all a great place to stay and easy access to Perth city and Northern suburbs There is a shopping centre nearby but I could not see much nightlife in the area.

Breakfast was 8.30, I do not know how strict the was. There were various cereals but the main was one option each day.

Teresa is a really kind soul. I felt really cared for. On my first night I ended up getting a migraine from the 22 hours of flying, and Teresa made me some toast and even offered to buy me some food. The room was immaculate, for my first week in Australia I just wanted to rest so I felt very relaxed. Everything was clean and tidy and the breakfast was lovely! It’s a short walk to the shopping mall, so you have plenty of options for food and essentials. The outside area is lovely to chill too. Teresa even helped carry my bags to the front when I checked out, and I was very touched by her kindness being a solo female traveller.
