Apartamentos La Castilleja

The staff at the complex was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The apartment itself was large and very clean with a well-stocked kitchen (including clothes washer/dryer). The pool was great for cooling off and relaxing. The complex is located too far from the city center to walk, but we did not mind this as it was not difficult to find parking close to the center. Overall it was a great value for the money.

The apartment hotel is siyuated in the hills above the old town of Cordoba in a nice and well to do residettial area. You take a bus to the attractions of Cordoba (10 mins) and the staff will tell you when the next bus is due. A taxi back to the hotel costs about 8 euros. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The apartments are recent (one year old) well looked after and clean. Another plus is that there is a secure and free parking for your car. We feel safe in saying that we would recomend this hotel to anyone. Mr & Mrs Vilhjalmsson.

The Apartmentos are a perfect base for exploring Cordoba provided you have a car & a GPS unless you know Cordoba very well. We arrived @ 2pm & were checked in. We shopped @ Carrefour & enjoyed dinner & breakfast in the apartment. Previously in Granada after the long journey from Toledo we had also booked a self catering apartment (not via Expedia but through a competitor) and on arrival found the property to be derelict & no person to be found! Fortunately we were able to book into a 3 bedded room in a nice hotel which we just found while walking past it. By contrast arrival in Cordoba was like a pleasant dream.

Very helpful welcoming receptionist. Apartment was clean, simply but smartly decorated and suited our purpose very well. Kitchen was well appointed - even a washing machine. A kettle would be useful.Clearly more luxurious furnishings and an English speaking channel on TV (CNN?) would be delightful but in fairness for the rate charged it is excellent value for the money. We like the out of town location with easy parking.

Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Apartment was good with a comfortable bed. This place is best for tourists who have a rental car and want free parking outside of the busy city. The hotel could be tricky to locate but our GPS got us there easily. We used this place as an overnight stop on our road-trip and it was great for that purpose. (It's nowhere near the historic centre but in a nice residential area on a hillside.)
