We had a wonderful time staying at the Apu Lodge for 3 nights. The view of the ruins from our room was amazing, the breakfasts large and delicious, and they have a restaurant onsite so after a long day of travel you can stay and eat dinner. The front desk staff are very knowledgable about the area and have great recommendations for hikes and adventures. The lodge is in the oldest part of Ollantaytambo with rock walls and paths...absolutely wonderful and authentic. A lovely couple minute walk to the town plaza. We were sad to leave...easilly could have stayed for a week.

This is a wonderful hotel with great staff and a cozy, homely atmosphere. We got a room with an amazing view of the Ollantaytambo ruins and the Andes mountains. The people at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, and Jose even took us on a tour of a Quechua village about 30 minutes away. We loved the freshly made breakfast every day and the hammocks were a big hit with our family! The hotel is about a five minute walk to the town center along cobbled streets, but they will help with picking up or dropping off your bags. The location is well worth it for the views alone. We loved our stay here. This hotel is a gem.

This is a CHARMING little place in magical Ollantaytambo!! The place is so beautiful and peaceful!! It is located a 5 minute walk from the main square and is set at the end of a cobble-stoned street. The staff is super-friendly and is more than happy to assist you with anything. They help bring your luggage from the main square, if you need help. The rooms are clean and well-furnished and the amenities are eco-friendly. You can walk to all sights from here easily, while also escaping the noise and crowd off the main streets.

Superb stay! Highly recommend! This was a lovely luxury at the end of my trip.

We did not start our stay with the right foot. They were supposed to meet us at the train station (the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Ollantaytambo rail station), but they forgot. I had to contact them and they finally met us 30 minutes later. The hotel is at the end of a cobblestone street with no access to cars. The driver didn't have a cart, and we had to carry most of our luggage (rollers are useless in the cobblestone street). Once in the room they had no clue about our prior arrangements. The room did not have a hair dryer, and the reception closes at 9pm. We arrived at 9:30 and left early in the morning, so no hair dryer for us. The breakfast was ok, and the wifi was useless, no connectivity at all. The room for the view was very nice.
