Hotel Laurus - Liburnia

This hotel was closed. We were transferred to another hotel belonging to the same chain. We received information about this in good time and everything was okay.

Excellent Location, Very friendly staff & superb breakfast. The hotel is located above Opatija and offers a breathtaking view of the Kvarner Bay and the city. The city center can be reached on foot in 20 min (way back is very steep) and by car in 3 min. The hotel is definitely a good starting point to visit Opatija and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is extraordinary & is prepared according to the own preferences. I will be back!

Hotel liegt oberhalb vom Fischerort Volosko mit sehr schönem Fernblick Richtung der Insel Cres sowie der gesamte Bucht. Frühstück wurde (Juli 2021) auf Grund der Covid Bestimmungen a la carte serviert... auf Wunsch div. Eiergerichte sowie herrliches leichtes Tiramisu... auch Glas Rose Frizzante wurde angeboten. Blick von der Terrasse (Restaurant) ebenfalls sehr schön. Gratis Parkmöglichkeiten sind am Hotelgelände möglich tw. je nach Zimmerkategorie auch Garagenstellplatz. Poolanlage (Pool mit Überlaufkante) sowie Dusche liegt nordseitig hinter dem Hotel, hier ist allerdings fast kein Blick auf das Meer. Shuttle nach Volosko & Opatija werden zu bestimmten Zeiten angeboten. Preis/Leistung ist für die Hauptsaison sehr fair... Wer ruhe sucht ist hier Richtig :-)

Hôtel excellent pour le repos avec piscine superbe

We stayed at this hotel only one night while travelling to Italy, it was a very clean hotel with brilliant breakfast.

Hospitality and the staff in particular Ellen was very friendly and helpful .

Hotel booked a large wedding in their hall just below our room, and only notified us the morning of our check-in, although a wedding for more than 130 people must have been scheduled weeks before. The room-shaking noise lasted until 5 am, making rest impossible. A hotel employee said that another wedding two weeks earlier had ended at 5 am, leaving the impression that this occurred frequently. The morning manager refused to honor a discount that we had been promised at check-in. I would recommend that this hotel be avoided at any time.

Lovely place, get a room with a sea view, its an amazing view. It's a bit of a walk to get anywhere but they provide free shuttle busses to and from the nearby town.
